Project in briefSince 2012 Su-chala program was started. With the support and financial assistance from Anukul Foundation, SEEP is carrying out the Project to aid in the continuation of education of 32 children aged 6-10 in urban slums of mirpur, Jurain and Lalbagh. It’s a stipend program and up to 224 students were supported by successful 7 years. The community people were excited at the prospect of getting their children in mainstream education and motivated the children to attend school regularly. Children become pliant and articulate in expression due to the effect of school ambience. They have become are about their rights and many have since left hazardous jobs and move to decent jobs where working hours are as per the labour law. They are happy and content with the progress they are making in life. They household environ of the children have diametrically improved, they are hygiene conscious, study regularly at home. The teachers were eloquent about the dramatic improvement of the psyche of the children.
