We took preparation for go to safe place by hearing the Cyclone update, announced by the Student of Kaiyerbill High School (stated by the Senuara begum wife of Helal Uddin, inhabitant of Kaiyerbill Union of Chakaria Upazila). The cyclone Remal hit in the Coastal area of Bangladesh especially southern part on 26 may, 2024. People were suspended from media and mobile connection as a result they had no any cyclone update to safe themselves and their commodities. Members of the student council, WDMC and UDMC of FNS & DRR project (BGD 1042) did a tremendous work through early warning system in the time of Cyclone Remal. On May 26, 2024 the metrology department of Bangladesh announced Signal no. 9 for the Cox’s Bazar & chattogram region that means a great cyclone is coming soon so all precautions should be completed as well as should stay indoors and away from exposed windows and doors to avoid flying debris. The members of student council also informed about the signal through social media as well as DRR employee of FNS and DRR (BGD-1042) project.
