Evidence based L&A to ensure adequate resource allocation for NPA implementation, activation and functional of Counter Trafficking Committees (CTCs) with promotion of coordination among the actors and creation of space for active linkage and networking; 2. Raise voices of children and youth in NPA monitoring; 3. Promote priority of children in activating the institutions (National Authority, Fund, and Special Tribunal for combating human trafficking); 4. Engage community and media to combat GBV. |

Project in brief | This project falls under GAA project, thematic area child trafficking and migration. It intends to better implement Human Trafficking Act-2012 and it’s Rules-2017 along with implementation of National Plan of Action (NPA) on human trafficking 2018-2022. This project aims to achieve these outcomes through lobbying, advocacy, linking and networking. The main tactics involve an outsider approach through participatory knowledge sharing, as well as an insider approach through membership in government committees and building linkage by organizational strength and involvement. The geographical areas include Bagerhat, Patuakhali, Rangpur, Satkhira and Dhaka districts. The families and communities and CSO from 5 working areas districts mentioned earlier. The key actors in 2019 include: Families & Communities along with Media, Government and CSOs. |
